Snows for AP1?

Snows for AP1?
'Bout to pull the TE37s, PMu brakes and put the car into winter mode for a bit. Hunting down a set of AP1s, but i'm noticing Tire Rack doesn't list ANY snow tires that fit anymore, and the Wintersport pages don't bring up matching tire sizes anymore.
I'm not dead set of Winterports, etc. My usual move is to hit Craigslist for used snows but I seem to be striking out at this time of year! My S and my WRX both rocked sets of toyos I spent under 50 bucks per set for. I'm not going to luck into a deal like that, but what options do I have for snows? Who makes tires that fit still?
Yes, in WA i recognize they're overkill, but if I'm buying seasonal tires, I'm not getting stuck at home for 10 days again because I didn't buy seasonal ENOUGH tires. lol.

OK did some hunting. Toyo doesn't make a proper-spec Observe, shit out of luck there.
Anyone have experience with these? I've had good luck with summer-spec 'kooks in the past... http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...sw=true&cs=225

Yeah i caught that, but TR doesn't list them anymore, even when I look per axle. I posted there asking for a quote, but it sounds like they are or are about to be discontinued?

Hmm, fewer than 4 WinterSport M3 in 225/50-16 in stock, but maybe two left? You might call Jim.
Looks like that's the only performance winter tire in 225/50-16.
You could go with 205/55-16 WinterSport 3D up front, and 215/55-16 WinterSport 3D in back.

You don't have to buy as big of a size as I did but buy that tire. I got that size for the extra ground clearence and they were alittle cheaper. We litterly tried getting my car stuck last year and couldn't We even stopped on a big hill and then took back off. Their were trucks getting stuck going up hills and having to roll back down and I just drove right up it without any issue. They are seriously beast.
There isn't a snow tire cheaper with a better rating I promise. I researched for 3 days straight after I put my car in a ditch when we barly had any snow on the ground. I had my dad pull me out and got the car home. 3 days later I was mounting these bad boys and had a blast all winter. My parents were asking me to drive them places. Everyone else was snowed in and I was out playing around.
have a good winter. $400 is well worth saving your ass and being able to get around. Plus they last more then one season.
tire I have..

tire you should buy (alittle shorter)

I took the risk and saved $19 a tire and they fit but if I did it over and had the money I would of got the 55's. I was just broke and didn't have the extra $80 on top of the $400 I was already spending.
