Just picked up a set of Volks ce28s right now im looking at Black Chrome powdercoat anyone have pictures of this on your car or color preference i got my app. next tuesday
At the momeny there gold but are fading, i understand Black chrome kinda looks like SBC finish but before i throw out 400 bucks just seeing what you guys think looks best.

I think gunmetal wheels would work pretty well on silverstone.

 

not the best lighting so it's a tad bit dark.

 

I got a shop to try to replicate the Lexus IS-F wheel color. I think it turned out pretty good.

 

I vote gunmetal or matte grey!

 

I had black chrome/SBC like Advans on my S2000 for a while...I loved the look. Chrome tends to get a bad rap but these aren't a cheap chrome look. Can you powdercoat a black chrome? I always thought you'd actually have to chrome the wheel, then add the black transparent tint to it.











Then I sold them and painted my AP2 stock wheels so I could buy a roll bar. I think matte gray also looks good.

Yes the color almost looks like a gunmetal i m goin to electro tech in san marcos but it said Black Chrome on the color example its a 2 coat so has a clear coat and its not as dark as black but not silver at all so in between like gunmetal. its just hard to get a full perspective of the color on a small example
