In tire denomination (example: 215/40R17) the first number (215) is the tire width in milimetres. The second number is the height of the tire's sidewall expressed as a percentage of the first number (40% of 215 which is 86mm.
So, the sidewall height for a rear tire which has a 245/35R17 denomination is 35% of 245mm, which is 85.75mm. Almost identical front to rear sidewall.

Based on observation I guess, The Front Sidewall is a 55 and the Rear sidewall is a 50. F: 205/55/16 R:225/50/16-Factory S-02's.
BUT.......After reading your explanation, i now understand that just because the sidewall numbers are different from front to rear doesn't actullay mean that the tire sizes are different, it may just LOOK that way
Thanks.

Is your question based on observation or measurement?
