Bridgestone tires.

Michelin tires on a McLaren.

This weekend there was a wet F1 race in Hungary.
Both tire manufacturers used a profile simular to the Potenza S-02.
It was used on an "intermediate wet" tire.
This kind of profile is believed to "not work very well" in the wet because it doesn't push the water sideways enough.

Both Bridgestone and Michelin use it for their F1 tires.
It can't be that bad.. can it?

The intermediates were really bad on the wet stuff.

S02 will work for the S2000 because the road is more forgiving than the slick tarmacs F1 racecars drive on.
