Hey guys im new to this...quick question....I have a 2005 S2k, and I wanna Put on Bigger tires in the rears on the original Rims. The Car is bone stock. I wuz thinkin on puttin on 255/40/17 in the rears. My tires of choice are the S03. Any idea what the pros and cons would be. WIll it fit properly....Any advice or info would really help. Or just keep it stock size...Im only street drivin...no track....just lookin for extra grip... Thanks in advance guys

 

Lots of people have put that size on the stock rears. However, many of them also put 225s on the front.

 

It's going to be hard to find S-03's now I'd guess.. but if they are back in stock 225/45 and 255/40 should work. I have a set sitting in my garage.

 

I heard tho...If you Put tires any bigger on the front....the Steering response...will not be as quick as if it were the oem size tire.As well Are there any pros and cons for the bigger tires..Will you fell a bigger differnce....Is it Ok to put the bigger rear tires..and keep the stock size in front...Also...does anybody know if there is a much bigger contact patch with S03...instead of the OEM Re050's...Thanks again guys
