S02 tyres
#2
S03's are the way to go. Just make sure you go with a 245/45 on the rear as the OEM tires run a bit wide and it's important to keep the same footprint for optimum handling. I've had mine for about 5,000 mile now and have no complaints.

S02's are still being produced. There are at least 7 or 8 threads going on with arguments for and against staying with the OEM tires; a few consider them the greatest menace to mankind since Adolph Hitler and the others say they are the best thing since the push-up bra.
Read the threads, make your own decision based on the credibilty and objectiveness of the posters, IMHO. If you ignore those on a jihad for/against, it isn't a hard decision.

Thank you, thank you...my assistant will bring around the tip jar.
I dropped out of the argument a week ago, btw, so I am trying to stay out of it. No one will convince you that there are a lot of guys who drive badly or improperly for the weather. No one is going to convince me that we should put all-weather radials on the car. Since we won't reach agreement, why argue the same points over and over and over? I just feel sorry for all of the guys who are now convinced that their car is going to kill them if they drive through sprinklers.
Have a good afternoon,
