Default S02 / 3's prone to flats?

Just had to order my second replacement rear so3 in the last 1k. Puncture / damage in center portion of tire too large to repair. Is it just bad luck or do these tires have a propensity to picking up debris? If so, should road hazard be highly recommended? 2 large to replace, mount / balance, etc makes tread wear moot.

They are no more likely to get damaged than any other tire. I would say just bad luck. We did offer a road hazzard program on a set of four tires. Unfortunately there is no way to predict a problem.

I've had three flat tires since I bought my car in November. I have never had as many flat tires on any other car. I'd say from personal experience that these S02's love to go flat. I don't undestand it.

Were you able to patch or did you need to replace them?
