Default Are S0-3's heavy tires?

Anybody know how S0-3 Pole Positions stack up against other tires in the weight catagory?
A lot of people talk about Toyo's being so light. I'm curious what kind of a difference we are talking about.

Thanks!

Probably only a couple of pounds. But SO-3's are on the heavier side.

SO-3's 255/35-18's are ~28lbs.

You can't look at the weight of a tire guys. Look at the performance of the tire. If one tire is light and has a weak sidewall and say the S03 is 2 to 3 pounds heavier I take the S03 everytime.
The other thigs is tires are different than wheels. Just because they say they are a 225/50R16 doesn't mean they are the same size. You are not comparing apples to apples As an example the S02 OE tire is 1/2" wider than the Porsche OE S02 tire. Teh S2K tire is heavier but handles a lot better than the Porsche OE tire.
I hope this helps some.
