Default Rubbing with 18x8

Wheels were free - traded for stockers. HP Racing Lightnings, 18x8 with 225/40/18 tires. Not sure of offset.

Decent bumps mid-corner the fronts rub (not sure where). Wondering if rolling the fenders should cure or if further analysis is needed.

It might help but knowing the offsets would tell you if it's even worth it.

I'm pretty sure those offsets are around 38+ which is wayyyyyy too low for the s2k rubbing like crazy I bet......

Fronts or rears?

& yes, the offset is everything.

There is a reason the wheels were free and he wanted your stock rims!!!!

Wish I knew the offset... Surprisingly it doesn't rub at all normal driving - just when taking a corner hard (near limit) or a mid to large bump mid-corner.

What is the optimal offset for 8" wheels?

I may end up having the wheels refinished and buying something different...

whoa the offset of those wheels are not at all good for the s2000. I would recommend you to run with a more ideal offset for the s2000. And on another note next set of wheels run a staggard fitment. Would look good if it was the right fitment.
