Default RPF1 17x9 +45 Fitment Question

I just recently puchased Matte Black RPF1's 17x8 17x9 with new 225/255 RE01R's. im going to an autocross with stock oem AP1 suspension. Will i rub if I hit a corner really hard? Should I do any fender work before tmw? Ive tried searching but I dont feel like Ive received a 100% answer.

Dude... NO and NO. If he's on stock suspension he WILL NOT RUB. He just needs 2 degrees negative camber front and rear and he's "A OK". I know because I HAVE THE SAME WHEELS.

What difference does it make if you're at stock height or lowered?

Certainly you won't rub while the suspension is not under load, but under full compression a 225/45/17 on a 45 offset has been known to rub. And tweak fenders if, at the very least, the liner tabs are not bent back.

I'm not saying this is going to happen, just that it could and has happened to people in similar situations. Why risk it?
