Enkei rpf1's break too....

it could happen to any wheel; does this mean the Enkei RPF1's arent a reliable wheel?
those didnt break due to defect. That was an impact. Kids a local, and he told us the story on how he lost control and hit a side barrier or something like that.

there's nothing wrong with rotas...go for it....our car is not a luxury car..if you are driving a bmw or benz yah don't buy rota but we only have a s2000..nothing's special...
i didnt know rota made bmw and merc rims? Every car has different price points of rims. I'm sure there are cheaper brands for BMW's and Merc's as well as for VW and Audi's etc...

should be "real friends dont let friends go broke buying rotas with a VOLK sticker on it" tell you what, you go buy some CE28's for $2,000 w/o tires and i'll get my DPT's for $1000 with tires and i'll put on a "volk racing" sticker on ONE spoke and we'll see how many people can tell the difference.
Sorry but you can actually tell those faking the funk compared to the real ones and that in the end makes you more lame.

There is nothing with buying cheap wheels. If you prefer Rotas then to you, but please don't pretend they're volks.

THERE IS A PROBLEM with the ROta company in general making a living off copying other wheels. I cannot see why people still don't understand this.

Pro-Rota supporters ..are you really ok with Kia cars looking like Benz or those Nikke shirts from chinatown? I highly doubt it.

If the OP wants to be a poser, let him. Your quality of life will not suffer. I don't see why everyone is so bent out of shape about Rotas. I am ok with Kia making their cars like a Benz or Nikke shirts. Will I own either, no, but I don't lose sleep over it. Its like people rebadging their car to whatever JDM/EDM name it is overseas. Is it the same car, probably close, but I am sure it is not part for part the exact same. Should these people be shunned too?

I would rock some Rotas, but I would not put any Volk/BBS/"high end wheel" sticker on them. I like my oem wheels for now, so I'll stick with them until its time to get an upgrade.

You are right that it is his car and what not. This is a public forum so people (like me) are just simply stating OUR opinion about the company. I really do not lose sleep, I just don't understand sometimes that is all.

Re-badging the names like the ones overseas is on the same exact line as lameness. G35 having "Skyline" on it is So yes they should be "shunned" too if you want my opinion.

So you are seriously telling me if you see someone with an obvious fake LV bag you do not think in your head "WHY?" There is nothing wrong if they cannot afford (or don't want to spend that money) on some regular purse. People are not going to "Oh that girl has a non-badge cheap purse .. she is the sucko."

So why do they do it other then to pretend that they have in fact shell such dough?

Again there is nothing wrong with wanting cheaper wheels. My beef with Rota is why cant they just make "ROTA" wheels.
