Rota DPT or Torque?
post a pic of your rota DPT or torque... i havent seen any floating around on here and i was contemplating ordering a set of DPT in their "17x9 Rota DPT - Matte Bronze (5x100/114.3/e35/73)" +35 all around.. what do you guys think?
or maybe a set of torques if i can find an offset that will leave the face sunken in.. my brother and i have rotas on our sti's and they'r actually nice wheels, good quality knock-offs. and pretty light too.. so i want to buy some for my S now as well.. help me out you wheel gurus.. thanks

ur going to hear alot of people saying "friends dont friends buy rotas" etc. stuff like that, but i honestly think they're not that bad, ive never had them but i do like them because they're extremely cheap and they're a pretty good replica company. go for it buddy!

should be "real friends dont let friends go broke buying rotas with a VOLK sticker on it" tell you what, you go buy some CE28's for $2,000 w/o tires and i'll get my DPT's for $1000 with tires and i'll put on a "volk racing" sticker on ONE spoke and we'll see how many people can tell the difference.
but anyways, my question was will the +35 on a x9 fit under the stock fenders? if it helps any, i'll be buying some shine +10mm front fenders (YES, LOOK AT THAT, ANOTHER REPLICA for 95% cheaper than the "JDM" part that fits better.. WOW!)

Yea they'll fit if you are going to buy front and rear fenders. But it will also depend on your tire size and alignment settings.
p.s. Post it up in the wheel and tire forum next time where you'll get more answers and less bs about what you should do with your money.

it all depends on what you want to do...if your actually just driving, hanging out with it then your ok. if your going autocros or anything like that then dont go do it
there's countless people racing/autocrossing rota all over the world, they are cheap but they are not cheaply made. go search around, you dont have to trust my word on this.
when you can't afford a light forged wheels you go for what you can get, i personally will not rock rota but i could careless now about what's the OP going to do.
just don't put a regamaster/works/volks sticker on it

people taking other's people's ride sometime way too seriously
you should be asking, how will it performans instead of will it fit, technically you can stick a 10mm+ 18x10 in there and there still people claim it fits(despite running more camber than you want to , rubbing and modding the fender to sh-t)
