I went with the 215/245 setup just so I didn't have to roll my fenders.
Also, I need to find some center caps that fit. When I put the rim on, the center cap just pops off from hitting the axle nut. I need to find some that are the same diameter and are deep enough to clear the axle nut. I wonder if Works or SSR center caps would fit? That would make people think I have the real deal.

hehe i just bought some stock ap2's instead. the rims were too "stunnaish" for me. they look good but i just don't like how it makes the car look. maybe if i was lowered, exhaust, and other silly stuff then yeah but a stock car with those wheels looks out of place

Plus, rockin real center caps from work or ssr would make you look like a poser if anyone ever noticed they were really rota's. Dont be ashamed to roll on the rotas!

I've read all these posts and I'm still confused. Say I get these wheels( +48 in the front and+50 in the rear) and put 215/40 in the front and 245/40 in the rear. Will I need to roll the fenders if I'm lowered 1.5 inch?

I just put my on the other day and even with the 245's it looks like I might have to roll the fenders. I'm lowered 1" and I'm sure if I hit a bump hard enough, I'll bend a fender. That 1.5" drop may be cuttin it close for just drivin it safe around town. Now tat I'm going to roll my fenders I'm sad I didn't just go with the 255 width tires.

Bumping this thread back up. I'm thinking about buying the 18's from Urban Import since they are available in hyperblack/gunmetal. The size and weights I've got down, but....
Anyone with a solution to the center cap issue? That's a potential dealbreaker for me as I like to put the OEM center caps on my aftermarket wheels.
