a 8" wide wheel and 225 in the rear isn't very aggressive, do you know what your alignment specs are? (more specifically rear camber).
Are you sure you're rubbing? It's hard to tell from the pics but the tread wear looks normal to me, which would point to it being the CV buckets - here's a thread with info: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/693...ration+lowered

Hi guys as pictured there is a mark around the edge of the tyre.more on the passenger side than drivers side tho I'm sure that this is what I can feel under acceleration I'm putting it down to the tyre being to big at the moment as it is quite high walled for a 40 .I also don't see why when I've dropped the front 30mm and rear the same the front sits higher?

Update I had fitted the front springs on the rear and the fronts on the back noticed after a phone call to the company who supplied them.How embarrassing school boy error never the less it's fixed and sits nice and level now !
