Default rim size and fitment

Just bought my s2k about 2 months ago, it's an 02 and the previous owner had on some 19 inch g35 rims i believe they are. I am looking for some 18s to put on and don't really know what sizes i should be looking for, and I did read the size chart or whatever but rather have someones opinion. Just curious on what adjustments i would have to make for 18s since the 19s on there already fit with no issues. Tire size is 215/35/19 if that helps at all..

First off that is far to narrow a tire for this car in the rear.

Second proper sizes will depend on if the fenders are rolled or not. If they are you can fit 18x8 with an offset between +40 and 50 in front with a 225/40/18 tire. In the rear you can fit 18x9 with an offset between +40 and 50 with a 255/35/18 tire.

If they are not rolled you have the choice or rolling them to run the sizes listed above or trying to find wheels with offsets in the high 50's to 60's which aren't very common.

Would 17s probably be a little better of a fit? And what would the sizing I'd look for with that rim size??

Also, there is some good clearance even with the 19s. But yea, I don't like the look of the 19s anyway

The offset on these that were put on the car are 30mm i believe, they stick out past the fender a little, looks horrible to me. So I'm sure the mm sizes you said should fit

Still didn't answer my question about the fenders and it seems you don't understand how wheel sizes work. Diameter has little to do with actual fitment (unless you are talking about 30's or something stupid but we aren't). What determines fitment is width and offset and proper tire size. If you were to do 17s the width's 8 and 9 inches wide and the offsets I suggested above would remain the same. The tire sizes would change to 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. The sidewall of the tire is larger because the rim is smaller.

I get you on what you're saying, and I'm new to the whole rim thing lol.. haven't bought a pair before so yea. Here is a link to what the rims look like on the car, yes I'm also trying to get rid of them lol but here..

I do not believe they are rolled tho, but I'm not 100 percent sure. The rims on there now are 19"x8", 5/ 114.3mm, 30mm offset

Really hard to tell if they are rolled from that angle It is easy to tell. Is there a lip on the inside of the fender well? This should give you an idea what they look like rolled and not rolled.

You have to upload them to a site like photobucket. Then post the img tag.
