I just picked up a set of Ap2 rims for cheap, with one front wheel cracked.

Is this fixable? Will it be safe?




BTW: Anyone selling a front rim?

 

is it leaking air? it should be cheap to fix at any muffler shop.

 

 

Call Wheel Collision Center in PA. The work they do is absolutely amazing. They can probably help you out on whether the wheel is repairable. I have sent them some pretty bad stuff and it comes back like new.

 

I have used them as well with good results.

 

if it is cracked on the face THEN it will depend on extent of damagae.
I know Daryl at WCC will also tell you if it is cracked at the base of a spoke it will probably be non repairable. If the dent & crack are on the backside of the wheel then it should not be a problem.
