What about wet performance? Hydroplaning resistance? Noise?
Driven these tires at speed in the rain and they feel better than the s02's I'm used to.

Car feels very stable, haven't had it go light / aquaplane over puddles of water.

They don't seem to mind the rain much, I have to remind myself its wet and slow down.

Tires only have 1000+miles on them so I'm sure once they start to wear the tread they might be a little. The tread channels although theres fewer seem much wider than the s02's.

I just installed mine 30minutes ago and I just got back from my test drive. First thing I noticed was its not as responsive as my stock RE050. My stock ones was way more responsive and handled better. I hope it gets better after the break in period.

I give it 7/10 for now.

You haven't broken them in yet. Give them a little less then 500miles and you'll wonder why you haven't gotten them earlier. From what I can tell about responsiveness, these tires have a stiffer if not just as stiff of a sidewall as the Bridgestones. What size tires did you get and what alignment are you running?

Im getting the same un responsiveness and i went with OEM sizes(AP2) 215/245 setup. I started at 32psi(COLD-tire placE) and it was WAY bad floating around, I have now bumped it up to 36psi(COLD) and it still seems a bit floaty. I still havent gained my confidence in these tires yet at the limit. Atfer reading thsi thread I am going to get them hot and fill them to 38psi and see if that helps!

I know these tires grips like hell, but I havent gotten comfortable with them while pushing it yet. My front end/steering seems to float alot now(like virtually no steering feel) and its kinda been bugging me.

Anyone have any recommendations PSI on stock AP2 with OEM sizes?

BTW, I LOVED my OEM REO50s, they lasted forever and provided ample grip wet/dry even at very high levels. Response was incredible! Im trying to reach this level of trust with my direzzas...

do you guys have the DZ101, Z1 or Z1 starspecs? for some reason, it seems like you guys are talking about the DZ101. i used to have those, and they had that floaty-ness feel that you guys are talking about.

Does anyone have any comparison of these vs the RE01-R and/or the RE070?

I know everyone keeps asking but there are never any SOLID results
