Default Replacing RE-01R's

OK, like many here the rears always wear out before the fronts. I was just wondering if anyone found a good replacement tire for rears only, while keeping the front RE-01R's on there. If not, I'll probably just buy 4 RE-11's when they go on sale or ADVAN Neova's. I'm not in any immediate hurry, since there is some tread left and I don't drive in the rain. Just trying to figure out my options right now. I've been running 215's front/255's rear on my AP2. Thanks.

I've done star specs on two different occasions. I had extra re01rs I bought on sale for the front. They are close enough in compound you won't tell a difference

or RS-3 or Khumo XS. these are really stick tires and probably a good choice over the star spec if you dont plan to ever drive in the rain

The RE-11 would be the closest match. The other options listed would be good choices for less money. If I can help let me know.

Thanks Jim. I'm leaning towards the RE-11 all the way around eventually. The price is a little steep right now though. We'll see what the Spring Bridgestone sale offers this year.
