Default replacing OEM tires

My OEM S02 is almost at the end of its life. I got about 20K out of these tires and they still have a little bit of tread left. I've just order a pair of the rear S02 and will have them put on to replace the old tires as soon as I get them. Is there any adjustments that I have to do besides getting them mounted onto the car? like alignment or fixing camber, etc..? this is my first time replacing tires on a car like this. Please give me some advice. TIA.

If your car performed well with the old tires and those tires wore evenly, then leave things alone. Of course, make sure the wheels are balanced once the new tires are mounted. Make sure you got the SO2s meant for the S2000 and not the ones meant for the general market.

Good choice.

They are the best tire for the car. There are only two valid reasons to switch to another tire: 1-you can't afford, or don't want to pay for the S-02s, 2-you've switched to different sized, after-market wheels.

While I was in the market for my S in Jan. of this year I visited several dealers (ended up going private party), I was told Bridgestone was wrapping up production of our S-02. Anyone else caught wind of this or is this just more dealer ignorance?? Jim??

[QUOTE=xviper,Mar 10 2005, 01:41 PM]Then again, they've discontinued the S2000 for several years running now, too.

Good thing I've been going out to the garage every night for the last 2 months to stare at it, confirming it's existence.
I did too for a long time.
