Rear Tire Width vs. MPG (What's your experience?)

Something else worth noting......the type of tire/compound could have a minor effect on MPG. It wouldn't be drastic, but I think it could be 1-1.5 MPG. I noticed this on other vehicles when switching to Michelin from a Dunlop.
I guess the only way to really test this is to keep the same tire model and just increase/decrease the size.

On my original RE050s I got 26+ city/31+ mpg highway. With Kumho Ecsta MX 215/255 I got about 24 city/27 mpg highway. With 225/255 RE050A on the car I'm getting 26 mpg in the city - no highway yet - , so I think that more than width, the natural rolling resistance of the tires makes a difference.
