Default Quick-Will these fit w/out modification or not?

I am looking at some wheels at possibly a decent deal...they have tires on them 215/40/18 for front and 235/40/18 for rear. All 4 are 18x8.5 and are +38 offset. Will these be bolt and go replacements? I have 04 ap2..stock height. Thanks guys!

You mean they may fit with no problem..and you are on the fence as far as if i would need a roll? Thx for input..anyone have a concrete answer. They are re30s.

The wheel brand and model is nice but honestly that is not a bolt on fit. It might work with those tires but the tires dont fit those wheels...they are stretched. To fit them right you need a roll.

The tires are already on the rims...they may be stretched but how is that a problen...and only stretched a bit?...fill me in on more details. And sinxe tires are already on the wheels..according to you they should be just a bolt on fit?

Considering that stock tire sizes are more than what you have, you are literally decreasing the performance of the car...why?

To answer the op question, the answer is no. Also, 35 series tires should be used on the rear.

35 on rear why? And fronts will be the same at 215...only rears will go down from 245 to 235 to be able to fit without modifications...it is an 18x8.5 wheel! From what I gather...none of you have first hand experience and are only basing this off the top of your heads and considerations.. The tires are ALREADY mounted on the rims and are sorta stretched but fit..and to remind u guys...hellaflush guys(which i am NOT trying to do btw) run SUPER stretched tires and have no real problems. I dont do track...I may punch the gas every so often(rarely..im going for looks) but thats it...

So...anyone with REAL life experience that has seen these specific stats and NOT FIT for sure? I found pics of one member who had some rota svns and the SAME size wheels and tires..so I pmed him..he said that he didnt have ANY problem running these wheels and tires ..but recently went up to a 225 up front and a 245 rear...and the only problem after that was that the rears hit the bumper tab..which he then relocated and everything was fine..NO rolling or pulling of fenders needed...he has pics..and he is first hand experience...anyone else care to throw their 2 cents?

I think He currently switched wheels to another wheel but I think same 18x8.5 all around +40 and 225/40/18 up front and 245/40/18 in rear..here is a pic. no modding done besides bumper tab relocation.

here is his car with the rota svns(which are pretty much the same as re30s) which he had 18x8.5 all around +40 and 245/40/18 rear and 225/40/18 front. And he is also on eibach suspension ...I will be on stock height/suspension. I sent him pm:

"I was surfing through here and noticed you have or once had some 18x8.5 rota svns...I am gettin the exact same wheels for my 04 ap2...stock height. fronts are 215/40/18 and rear 235/40/18 ...so I was wondering what modifications if any you had to make to make them fit? I know the rears will fit perfect but will the fronts rub? THANKS!! and send me more pics..I cant find any s2ks with them besides yours.."

and he replied this:

"I ride back tires 245/40/18 225/40/18 infront only thing I changed is the screw q the back bumper to fender I have also in Eibach suspencion have helped give me hope and I send you email multiple photos"

If you don't know why, you need to research into what the little numbers mean before making any purchases. And the guy above either mistakenly said 245/40/18 or he's an idiot and you shouldnt be learning from him.

He didnt mistakenly say that..and thats pics of his car...and i just went through all 18 pages of the eighteens club thread and saw many s2000s running same width rims and same size tires...some even ran wider tires up front like 225 and rearlike 255 and still no fender mods but maybe a bumper tab relocation..u guys forget i am stock height...monday we shall see who is right i suppose when i test fit them. Ten bucks no one replies if they fit..and replies i do get will just vbe negative saying how they are going to bust on me or something...
