Default Quick Wheel Fitment Question

I've read through the Wheel Fitment Sticky Thread many times and also read many threads using the search, and a lot of members have tried to help me out, which has been great.

I just want a more definite answer and that is why i'm posting to hopefully just get a more reliable answer from some other pro's before I decide to purchase my wheels.

I want to run the following

Front: 18 x 7.5 offset = 48 with a 225/40/18 tire
Rear: 18 x 8.5 offset = 45 with a 255/35/18 tire

I know i will clear and they will fit, but I just want to know after using the calculator, it says the wheels outside edge will Extend 13mm in the front and 20mm more in the rear.

I want to know is there any major possible rubbing issues that I might occur?
Will the front and rear wheels stick out that much more, since I'm lowering it a bit the negative camber will help it not stick out as much I hope?
Will the tire size be the correct choice to go with for this sizing?
Will my tires look funny on those size wheels?
If I go with a 18 x 9.5 with a offset of 45mm will my rim be sticking out way too much if I go wiht a 255 tire?

I'm more concerned about the appearance of the way the wheels fit, I don't want it tucked but I dont' want them sticking either, well not much further than the stock ones. I know many people have tried lower offsets and negative camber, and after reading many many posts it seems like you can make anything work but I just don't want to be forcing something that is off from the wheel fitment guide, especially since the tires i'm using should be a size smaller with those offsets according to the wheel guide.

Any Help and Opinion would be GREATLY appreciated, so please post away.

Thank you

Maybe you wouldn't rub if you left it at stock height, got smallish tires and rolled your fender. You will be making your car fit these wheels, not the other way around.

The best size tire for those wheels would be 225/40R18 front and 245/35R18 rear. The 255 is going to rub without rolling the fender lips and running more negative camber.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention I have a 2004 AP2, Does this make it a bit better? and also how can some people run the 9.5 REAR BBS LM with a 55 offset with a 255 tire and barely not rub or even rub at all?

So will the 8.5 or 9.5 be ok in this case?

Running a 255/35/18 i thought would be fine as it seems as though a lot of people run that size on their volk's that are 8.5, but then the volks have the correct offsets.

At the bottom of the main page of the Wheel and Tire Forum in the right hand corner it says "Search this forum." Type in "rubbing" in that blank space and let it search. You'll see a ton of posts from guys running better offsets than you that are rubbing.
