Default Quick Offset question for 17s

Sorry I tried searching

Does 17x8 50 offset (for front) and 17x8.5 50 offset (for rear) fit on the S2000?

I want to run either 225 / 255 or 235 / 255 tires.

Nevermind, it seems there is more than one way to research. Damn my lack of noticing of that guide.

Sorry

It seems the front offset is too low by 3mm. Has anyone run that front size on their car before?

Just don't go too wide (225 or less) or lower your car too much and that front should be o.k.

If you go too low it'll rub. If you keep the car @ stock ride height 225/45/17s will fit nicely in the front. I would not go beyond a 245 rear tire with the offset you posted - it might work but it'll be close if you lower the car. 255/40 would likely work @ stock ride height - no guarantees though.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I did plan on lowering it so I guess these rims won't work.

They will probably work o.k. if you go 215/245.

If you slam it then you will have problems with 225/255 for sure. 235s would really be a problem. My car is dropped to a 1 finger gap or 1.3" or so on some pretty stiff coilovers (10K) and I just fuuked up my right front fender lip running 225s on 18x8 +49s.

I am running 225s and 255s RT615s on a mild drop Tein H Tech. Which are slightly higher than S techs and I hardly rub. Only on high speed cornering. My rear tires are pretty wide and the offset isn't high enough for them to tuck into the rear fender. 1mm won't make that much difference.

My wheels are 17x7 +49mm 17x8 +49mm
