Questions regarding wheels/tires
I received almost new snow tires from a friend of mine.
All of them are 225-60-16. Are these going to fit the stock fronts or the rears?
As for the other questions,
I looked at SLO-S2000 thread for recommended setups for wheels/tires
I would want to go with a staggered wheel setup of 18x7.5 and 18x8.5, the only problem is the highest offset for both is +48...is that going to work? If yes, should I get both the front and the rear at +48, or different (+43) on the fronts??
If this setup works, I'm guess the correct tire size would be 215-55-18 front and 245-45-18 back?
Thanx!
Would it make any difference if I choose 17's over 18's in the same exact sizes offsets? (edit. Besides the obvious weight difference )
Thank you.
Simon

I have 18/7.5 in the front running 225/40/18 and the rear 18/8.5 running 255/35/18. I love it, I just got sponsored by Toyo tires and if you are interested i can sell you my Nitto NT 555 tires. Give me a call with any questions, I know my car almost inside out. 469-688-2067 Lee

Okay, one question down.
Anybody know the answer to this --->
I received almost new snow tires from a friend of mine.
All of them are 225-60-16. Are these going to fit the stock fronts or the rears?
???
Thanx!

225-60/16 is about 1.8" larger in diameter than 225-50/16. For snow tires, you should use 205-55/16 all around for your S. 225-60/16 is the tire size of Lexus LS400 and some other large sedans.
