Question for the tire guy
#2
The ES100 is a budget tire that is a little more sporty than an all-weather family sedan tire. They have nowhere near the grip of the stock Bridgestone S-02's. I ran ES100's on 18" wheels and was not impressed, scared at times. They don't seem to last any longer than the stock tires, and they're not great in the rain.
The only time I'd give the thumbs-up to ES100's on an S2K is if your budget won't allow you to get S-02's *and* you never drive your car fast around corners.
The S2000 is a sports car, give it good rubber! The S-02's were specifically designed for the S2000, they're almost impossible to beat for the street.

The ES100's scared me a few times, no bs there. I suppose they're ok if you don't have anything to compare them to, but I have both the stock 16" and 17" Bridgestones in my garage, both have a huge amount of grip compared to the ES100's.
My Spugen exhaust is good, one of the best mods I've put on my car.
