Question for people with RE11s

I just got mine on friday too. Only drove on them for about 4 miles but could tell a difference right away. Only thing I don't like is that the tire faces different ways from the right side to the left side. It's like they only made a mold for one side.

"The tire's internal structure features a custom designed asymmetric shape that helps distribute footprint pressure more evenly by keeping the straighter outboard sidewall from “falling down” while helping the more rounded inboard sidewall resist “falling away” during aggressive cornering. Two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wound nylon provide strength, uniform ride quality and high-speed capability."
Thats why the tire is opposite on each side of the car. They aren't the first to do this

I know they aren't the first, I was just saying I don't like it. I'd rather it look like they are going the right way on both sides.
Where I said that it looks like they only made a mold for one side was to help people figure out what I was talking about.

I've got the RE-11s on my DD, and so far they've WAY outlasted my RE050s. I put on brand new RE050s when I got my car at 13k miles, then replaced them with RE-11s at around 30k when the re050s were showing significant wear in the rears. I'm at 45k now and the rears are still showing at least half tread life remaining. I disagree with InspectorQ on the road noise. I've found these to be much quieter and a smoother ride overall than compared to the re050s.
