Default Question on Asymetrical tires

I recently bought some used wheels that came with REO50 Pole Position tires and I didnt realize they were asymetrical.

I was trying to look to see which tire should go on the left and which one on the right but I do not see a direction arrow like i do on the regular RE050's.

So as long as the part that says "Outside" is on the outter part of the wheel, does it matter which side they go on ?

Thanks,

Nope. Just Outside to the outside. I have had tire jockeys mount them incorrectly. Also had them mount rears on the front wheels and vice versa. Always good to check everything INCLUDING tire pressures before driving away from a tire shop. (My rears were at 50 psi last time I had tires mounted.)

yeah, as long as the outside is on the outside you are fine. but the performance might downgrade a little bit if you can even notice it. however, I saw 2 evos at an autoX event both with RT615s and oddly enough, the one with "inside" facing out was running slightly faster times. (then again, i dont know how much of that was driver since both cars were pretty equal)

Thanks for the replies.

I have the outside and inside on the proper sides and I was just worried about direction so now that is no longer an issue I'm good to go.

I've only had them on two days but they seem good

I run azenis RT-615's myself and have wondered about running one side inside out. I figure the direction the belt wraps would be more important possibly then the tread pattern so I didn't chance it.
