jim, i'm interested.

are the comps. offsets the same as the GT1's in 18x8, 18x9?

i would love to know as i have the 18x8, 18x9 GT1's and am thinking of going to the 18" comps (wheels only - i'll use the tires from the GT1's (225, 255 - S03's)).

please advise.

thanks in advance.

It is because the rotational mass of the wheel+tire extends outward... I remember SCC did a
test earlier that going from 16" to 18" is like putting 200lb on your car in the 1/4 miles (the
18"+tire they tested weigh less than 16"+tire)
I wasn't addressing all that MOI stuff, just the speedo error stuff.

I just had them mounted & torqued today. I was surprised how much lighter the anthracite color was in person (It looks just like the 3rd pic in this post w/the BMW Z3). No complaints here though. Just try to imagine silverstone metallic but a little darker & you got the color. The 15"x6" SSR Competitions w/the Bridgestone S03's (195/50/15) weigh 29.5 pounds. I'll post pics later tonight or tomorrow.

Wow... you know what.. that looks better than I expected!!...
Can't wait to see it on the car...
(Is that a gun-metal regamaster 16" on your s2000?)

RT or HondaGuy,

What do you think of Advan RG?
I think it looks very nice... (similar to SSR Comp)... the weight is similar to TE-37
but I've read that it's cast?? Can't believe such expensive wheels are made by
cast...
