I think it's just the lighting. Funny that you mention those rims. I just ordered those yesterday & should be getting those for my civic hatch (15") by Friday. Would you like me to post pics of it in a natural environment (No flash when taking a pic) & post it here?

I believe Jim@Tirerack said the s2k application should be out by sometime this spring. If you want the all white or bronze version, then just look for an importer that can get them for you. Here's the stats on the white and bronze version I was talking about:

17x7.5; 48mm offset; 6.2kg (13.64 pounds)
17x8.5; 55mm offset; 6.6 kg (14.52 pound)

18x7.5; 48mm offset; ?
18x8.5; 48mm offset; 7.96 kg (17.51 pounds)

I hope this helps.

The wheel is anthracite center and a polished lip. That is the only way the wheel comes. The flash on the pictures makes the finish look different.
The wheel will be available 01/23/02 in 18X8 at 439.00 and 18X9 at 459.00 per wheel.
I can reserve a set of the wheels now for you and we will not charge the credit card until they ship.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

JT-KGY, sure no problem...Just don't laugh at my wheel well gap (I haven't lowered it, yet).

Jim, do you know the weights & offsets of the 17" & 18" versions? Any news on the release date of the 17" version for the s2k?

I went to see the rims today at Eurosport. Very sweet! They look exactly like the first picture above (The factory photo). The company rep said that the S2000 application is made especially for the S2000 (since it has such unusual offsets) and that the lip will look slightly different than the picture above. It should look better, since he said that it would have a "beveled" lip. It's hard to explain this with just words, but I'll try. It will angle out evenly from where the lip begins, instead of having a plateau and having a pronounced edge where the lip ends. Is that clear? Well, I'm sure there will be pictures of it on someone's car very soon anyway.

The only info I have currently is on the SSR Comp in 18X8 ET48 16 lbs and 18X9 ET55 17 lbs. They will be into us 01/23 at 350.00 front and 375.00 rear.
Let me know if I can help.

Thank you
