Can anyone offer me advice on the overall diameter? Smarter going with a 255/35/18 on a 9" vs a 265/35/18 on a 9.5"

I'm a fan of sidewall, NOT the stretched look...
Honestly you'll be fine with either one of those without having the stretched look. Just depends on how much money you want to spend on tires and how much tread you want on the ground. Either will be fine.

what about the 255's on the 9.5? i don't think that would give you a bad look. like someone posted above... contact Rijowysock. he's a fitment guru AND should be able to hook you up on price too!

Kenny: Yeah I remember meeting you I can barely afford these wheels as is... but I figure... it's going to take 2-3 months for these to get here so I have some time to pay them off / and I can roll on them through the summer!!

S2K 4 ME: I don't mind spending more money if it means I'll be happier with the result - money well spent

igbal624: I'm a bigger fan of the bulge / strong sidewall look - so if 255/35/18's would fit on a 9" wide rim, I'd rather do that, since a 9.5" wide wheel wouldn't yield any benefits right?

take a look through the gallery, there are many people with S1's and most post sizes and offsets. another good place to look is the for sale forum as many people will take various pictures in lots of different angles because they are trying to get rid of them.
