Unhappy Purchasing Work S1 18" - Advice Needed

Guys,

I am about to drop a significant amount of money on a new set of wheels, and I cannot believe how difficult our cars can be to get properly fitted wheels. I have researched and read for hours on end, throughout this forum and others and come to a conclusion. Now I know the last thing that you need to hear is "WILL THESE FIT!?!?!", but this is more of an assurance that my research has gotten me to a reasonable point. It's nerve racking dropping so much cash and not being entirely confident in my decision.

At this point I am looking at ordering the following:

Front: 18 x 8" +56mm - 225/40/18
Rear: 18 x 9.5" +65mm - 265/35/18

Now, I am planning on lowering the car a fair amount, 1-2" most likely on KW V3's. These offsets fit within the safe guidelines, however, I would like to make sure I will have enough room camber correction without the fender rubbing (and not naturally having the camber cause the wheel to clear the fender).

Furthermore, the 265/35/18 will have a diameter of 25.3

That sounds like a good set-up and you should be fine.

The other thing I have heard, is that offsets differ from 2 piece to 3 piece wheels (S1 2pc vs 3pc)? I don't understand how this could be possible? BS or truthful?

offset is offset. it doesn't change between the 2 or 3 piece.

S2K 4 ME: Have you had any rubbing issues with those specs? Would you be able to drop the car more without rolling the fenders? Or have you done that already

Car looks sick btw.

You could run those rims without rolling the fenders IF you run a 265 in the rear. Because I went with 285's I had to roll the rear fenders and relocate the bumper bolt (which I still need to do). If you go 265's you could probably go lower, it
just doesn't work here in Colorado.

The sizes you're looking at will be fine. I'm running on 19x10.5 +69 w/ 275 rears and I'm lowered quite a bit without issue.

Can anyone offer me advice on the overall diameter? Smarter going with a 255/35/18 on a 9" vs a 265/35/18 on a 9.5"

I'm a fan of sidewall, NOT the stretched look...
