Can you advsie on the use of Potenza RE-11 tires for an S-2000?
What are you looking for in a tire? Competition use? Daily driving? Or, some combination of the two?

not to thread hijack, but since I have also been considering these tires:
nmrado, from your comment, I am not sure if the RE-11 is the right tire for me. I do not do any competitive driving, just daily driving with a little spirited driving on backroads.
What is the general consensus on a good daily driver tire? Tire would be used in heavy rain but no snow /sleet / freezing temps.

The sumitomo HTR-Z III seems to be a popular choice, lately. Worth a look - HTR-Z III Thread.
Good luck picking a tire.

I haven't used the RE-11...yet. But I know what it's designed for - racing and more specifically - auto-x. If you are not going to be racing, these tires are probably not going to be the best fit.

If you're not using them for any sort of competition, unless you have money to blow on replacing tires very frequently, I'd say look for tires with treadware ratings around 300.
Fuzion ZRi, Kumho Ecsta SPT should perform decently enough for you without breaking the bank.
If you want a stickier tire that doesn't cost too much, check out the Hankook RS2. It probably won't last as long but should grip much better than the Fuzion or Kumho.
