I know these aren't exactly the best offset for an s2000, but what would be the best tires on a lowered s2k (i'm on coilovers).. I guess i don't mind if the tires would be stretched, since this would help reduce the chances of rubbing on such a low offset wheel.. but I was thinking:

215/45/17
235/40/17 (instead of the 240 from stock)..

I was afraid the 240 was designed for the stock 8.5, might stick out more on a an 8.0? But with this setup, would the front tires look bigger? Any other combo suggestions?

go wider in the back. you can go 245 in the rear and it wont stick out

I would say 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 rear. The 235/40R17 would not be tall enough for the rear.
