Previous owner put 17" wheels on AP1 - what tire size should I get?
I just bought my S and the previous owner put 17" Konig wheels on the car. He had 225's on the front and 235's on the rear - should I stick with this size or go back to the stock width of 205/225? Perhaps 225/245?
Tire noob here, thanks for your help!
Width of the current tires on there is 45.

What are the widths of the wheels? Personally I would try to find some AP2 stock wheels and run OEM ap2 tire sizes but thats just me. If the konig's are correct widths run OEM ap2 sizes but my guess is they aren't wide enough especially in the rear since he was running a 235.

I just called Konig and found out that the wheels are Konig Trouble models and are 17 x 7, located here: http://www.konigwheels.com/Konig-Hom...Wheels/TROUBLE
Sorry for the delay.

45 what? That doesn't mean anything. The width is 225 and 235 but I need to know the width of the wheel. Picture? Which wheels are they?

Go get some OEM AP2 wheels - much better size. 17x7F with 17x8.5R. Then run 225F/255R and call it a day.
