Potenza Problem!!
Hey I just read that thread concerning the S-03's, and I have nearly the same situation in particular my right-rear tire. My original one was torn so I went to Costco and they didnt have any S-02's in stock or for them to order. The closest ones they had were the S-03's. So I decided to order 1 tire which will eventually set me back $190. The guy also said that I should take my original tire back to the dealership I bought the car from and ask if the tire is covered by the warranty. I've read how S-03's might affect the car in the long run. I know the S-02's are practically out of stock, but I don't want my car turning into a grocery getter!! Any tips will be appreciated.

Bridgestone will only cover defects on a pro-rated basis.
You definately don't want to mix tires. Also I hope you ordered a 245/45-16 instead of a 225/50-16 for the rear since the stock S02's are built wider than other 225/50-16's.
You may also want to replace 2 at the same time because if there is too much of a difference in thread depth between left and right, you could throw off the handling as well. What's even worst, you could ruin your differential.
