Potential tire combo...
I am purchasing a new set of Volk CE28Ns in the following configuration:
17x7.5 +50mm / 17x9 +63mm
I will also be buying new tires, and am looking at the following combination:
Front: RT-615s, 225/45R-17
Rear: MT ET Street Radials, 275/40R-17
I thought about going with a 245/40R-17 for the RT-615s, but my car is being setup more for drag racing then anything, and I believe most drag racers prefer to use a smaller tire up front (the more serious racers use ultra-skinny front tires!).
Anyways, just curious to know what you guys think about this setup.

The RT615 doesnt come in a 245/40/17 so if you want that smaller tire up front i think the smallest you could go is 215/45/17 with the RT615

I could go as small as a 205 for 17s:

but I am not sure if I want to go that small.

Drag racing a S2K ???? Being a drag racer myself I'm curious as to why pick an S2K ??
So, I am building the car more towards drag racing, but not a full-time drag car. I've done some pretty significant weight reductions, but my car is far from being totally gutted. With the R200 conversion kit, my S2000 will run 10s all day long on slicks though.
