Please help ! Big handling problem
I've been having this problem for a while now and can't figure out what it is ...I recently got new tires put in aswell ..
When I accelerate my car and any speed it jerks to the upper left corner of the street and I have to turn the steering wheel to the right just to make it keep going straight ..im thinking it maybe needs an alignment ?? The car is pretty low ...if this problem has happened to anyone and knows what it is please lmk ASAP or anyone that know what it might be any feedback is welcomed thank you ..

Check your steering rack. This has never happen to me on my S but I had an Acura gsr and everytime i crossed over to vtec the car would almost run off the road it turned out to be a loose bolt for the steering rack Idk if the s is simalar or not but its worth a shot.

Regarding alignment, don't take it in until you know *exactly* what settings you want. The spec is a broad range, and honestly the middle of the range isn't the best place to be IMO. Generically, I'd recommend negative camber at the max end of the range or more, even (-1deg front, -2deg rear), and toe at the minimum end of the range or less (zero front/0.2deg total rear is good).
There have been recent incidents of S2ki'ers getting a generic alignment where the BEFORE specs were BETTER than the AFTER specs. know what you want/need before you go in and spend money.

First check tire sizes and make sure the tire people put on the right tires on both sides.
Second check tire pressure. The S2000 is very sensitive to this. If you got new tires, they may not have inflated them properly.
Third, remove the rear wheels and measure the diameter of the rear tires on the center line. Do it several times to be sure your measurement is accurate. They should be the same. If they are off by a 1/4" or more, one of your tires may be defective. It happened to me once.
Fourth, get an alignment.
If all this has failed, have a shop that knows S2000s look for bent or broken suspension hardware and/or bent or shifted subframes.
