There are stickers on ebay for the center caps. I had them on mine and it looked pretty good.

Like these. Just put right over the plastidip.

I'm not sure if I want to do it or save up for actual black wheels.

Did you do the inside of the wheels as well? Was four cans enough?

Yeah, four cans was more than enough. You can do all four wheels on just 3 cans. I just got the face of the wheels sprayed. When it comes time to replace the tires, I'm planning to remove the plasti-dip, fix up all the curb rash and get each rim spray painted bronze (since there may be a possible association with alloy wheels cracking after powder coating )..

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm pretty meticulous at everything I do I'll post detailed pics when I get around to fixing all the curb rash as well as spray painting the rims bronze.

powder coating will give you the best quality finish. there is no danger of a cracked wheel if it's done by someone reputable. plasti-dip is good if you want to try some colors on. it's pretty durable and you can obviously remove it. the key is that you build up a good layer of it with three coats, then it will peel right off when you are ready. if it's too thin then it flakes and rips off in bits and becomes a huge pain in the ass. paint is the last option in my opinion. you really have to do it right for it to look good and it chips and/or fades much more easily.
