Default Pirelli P6000s on S2000

I bought my S2000 used from a local broker. Previously someone replaced the rear tires with Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce P225-50R X 16s. The fronts are still the original S02s. Reading the various threads on this forum has me questioning the acceptability of these rear tires and their size and the mixing of different brands front to rear. Any advice? I'll be needing to replace the fronts before too long and I don't really know which way I should go. Replace all four or just the fronts with matching Pirellis?

Thanks-
DD

DD: Having been in the same situation as yourself, I would replace the Pirellis with the original S-02's. I have Dunlop SP Sport 5000's on all four(4) corners and they just do not grip as good as the factory S-02's. Although they have a good treadwear rating, I just cannot justify replacing performance and handling for increase in treadlife. My $.02.

That is a bad mix of tires. You have a Max performance tire front and an all season touring tire on the rear. The car will have very bad oversteer which can be dangerous in an emergency situation.
It is not something I would recommend for any car.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
