Default picture of tire after 1/4 toe out on front

the tires are re01r's and were even all the way across(with about 10k on them) until i did the 1/4 toe out.(camber was set to -2)
i got about 3k miles of daily driving and about 6 autocross events(probably 30 runs)
just posting to give an idea what out of spec toe will do.
was it worth tire life for handling??? yeah.

Wow, is it down to the cords on the left side? And 3k miles on a set of front tires is *horrible*. Don't think I'd do this, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

It was not 3k from the whole set, just 3k to get the the wear from the toe. There was probably 10k on the tires before I adjusted toe. As you can see on the not so wore side, that's about how much tread was on the entire tire . And yeah, I took the pic opposite of how the tire was mounted. The wear is on the inside when mounted

O right, good eye lol i forgot I wore through the star specs already.
Better turn in response is the benefit, straight line is not as easy though to control though

Genuinely curious: Did 1/4" toe out really benefit your autoX times? Probably not practical, but it would be great to get blind A/B/A test info on how much (if at all) running toe out up front actually benefits autoX/lap times, or if it's more of a feel thing.

Personally, I don't get why front toe out should be a huge overall benefit. Initial turn-in benefit, sure, but once the outside is loaded up and the inside is unloaded, seems like more toe out would require slightly *more* steering angle vs. zero toe. And of course with 1/4" toe-out you add a fair amount of drag down the straights, it's costing POWER (and fuel economy) to grind those tires down!

I've frequently heard of people running front toe-out for "killer turn-in", but I've never been tempted to try it. But I don't autoX where the benefit (if it really exists) would presumably be greater.

Autox guys; wouldn't F/R weight distribution be an easier and cheaper way to achieve the same thing?

Road manner suck though. Especially if you have rutted out Freeways, the tires want to grab irregularities in the road more and makes for a handful to drive, especially when you add - camber to that equation. I'm all for 0 toe up front.
