I had 050's when I bought it, and loved em, but i later went for looks and got wheels that were NOT good for the S...
GREATLY regretting that decision, got the Sumi's and love them. Cant be beaten for the price. |

What sizes did you get again? i just came back from a quick drive test drive after they fixed the toe alignments and WOW WHAT A TIRE! i was able to drive it about 7-8/10th with the vsa off on our freeway loop on ramps and i'm very impressed so far. there was a little very little trace of understeer when you go beyond 8/10th and i found it difficult to coax some oversteer. i'm not sure if the 215/255 combo had more to do with it but under 8/10th driving the car is very very nuetral and above 8/10th it all depends on what lines you take for you to see under and oversteer but under a normal driving line you will feel a little understeer. also my definition of 7-8-9/10th might different from yours. i had my buddy with an evo mr ride with me one time at a palomar mtn run and he said i was driving 8-9/10th where i thought i was doing 7-8/10th. this is from a guy with tons of track time at willow and infineon raceways under his belt. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geoc...16&iwloc=A&om=0 i'm more intrested what the tires can do with the vsa on at palomar mtn. whenever i do mountain runs i always have it on and there are a lot of people in here that would say, why? there's no fun in having it on but my thinking is if i can drive 7-9/10th at palomar and not have the vsa go off then i'm driving the car pretty good. i've had the vsa kick a few times going downhill on palomar where i had too much entry speed and i always try to keep it clean going in but i am a very late braker. i usually go in very hot and maybe i'm a little spoiled with the S brakes and i do everything i can not to upset the balance of the car at entry and mid-turn but i feel if vsa doesn't go off then i'm driving pretty clean. |

depends on where they ship and where they're going to.

one thing i do like with the new tires it lessened the gap from the top of the tire to the wheel well. i had a 4 finger gap with bald RE050 and now its 3 with HTR-Z3...

Their shipping is spot on. I oredered a set of Kumhos from them for the wife's MDX and they showed in about three days. Shipped from the AZ warehouse to me in Washington state.
