Just wanted to ask some fellow S lovers.

I am upgrading MY00 Silverstone to 17 inch rims. I have narrowed it down to 2 rims.... SSR GT1's and 2005 OEM 17'' S2000 factory rims from Honda.

What would you think looks better?? I am thinking it would be nice to keep it all nice and "Honda" with the new 05 rims but then I dunno if I prefer the SSR GT1's!

Opinions from other owners would be great!

i really think it comes down to personal preferences to tell you the truth. Buy what you think looks best for your taste. Everyone will have their own opinion regardless. Look at both of the wheels on a S2000 (try to find pics) and whatever floats your boat will probably make you happy in the long run. The good thing is you can always probably sell both on the for sale forum if after awhile you start to get tired on them. my .2

in addition to what i said earlier... i think that 04 oem wheels look sweet on a lowered S! cheaper then SSR as well!

True! I just can not get a good pic of OEM 17's on a pre 04 S2000. Sone pics they look chrome in, some matted silver so I dunno what to expect!

 

I just put the 17" SSR Gt1s with Bridgestone S03s on my 2002 Sebring Silver S2000 and it looks Fantastic!

In 17", i'd go for the Mugens MF10's or the OEM NSX wheels...But between your choices, SSRs

 

I'd go with OEM, they look cool, and most likely be able to get replacements cheaper.
