I would suggest to either keep your Staggered tires or go with the 205/55R16 all the way around. I think the car handles better with the staggered 205/55R16 and 225/50R16.

Just to let you know, I am selling my stock 16's with Pirelli P210 SnowSports. The tires have 95% + tread left on them! I'm willing to sell each part separately if you're only interested in the tires -- for example.

If you are talking about straight Arctic Alpins, It's true they are awesome because I've had them on three cars (quiet, good dry traction, wet traction). But they are only Q rated. If you want to go with H rated rubber (and skip some ice capability for dry performance), the Pilot Alpins are what competes with the LM-22.
