Default Is it okay to take new tires to a Honda dealership

Hi. I've got about 15,100 miles on my 04 S2K and it's time to start thinking about new rear tires. What do you think about taking the car to a Honda dealership to get them put on? Is it a good idea?

Based on my recent experience with new tires on alignment I would suggest asking the following questions?

What type of alignment equipment do they have?

Refer to my thread in the vintage forum:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=404026

I recently ran across a tire shop that just recently purchased a $70K Hunter state of the art computerized four wheel alignment system. But, more importantly, their main alignment guy "Jay" is dedicated to getting it right.

After working on trying to get the rears right for almost two hours he did not charge me the posted $89.95 price because "HE was not satisfired" he only charged me $69.95. According to their custom software he "nailed" the front end. But could only get the LR to -1* camber and the RR to -3* camber. He was not satisfied with that result.

PM me or if everyone would like to know where I ran across this professional I would be happy to share where I found him in NJ.
