Okay, so get wider non-OEM S-02's in the rear

Topic is OEM 16" wheels.
New to the S2k world, just got my '03 about a month ago. Rear tires are a few month old Kumho 711's (don't bother with the comments, I know they're shitty and the PO put them on, not me). Anyway I figure I'll let them wear out on their own and replace the fronts for now.
I've decided on Toyo T1-R.
Anyway, I've done lots of searching and see that everybody recommends 245's in the back because they're closer to the OEM S-02 225 width. Great.
What I haven't found out is the front. I mean if Honda specified that the S-02's be wider than normal in the rear, why wouldn't they be wider than normal in the front? 205/245 is a helluva stagger, and I'd be more comfortable with say a 225/245 setup (on paper anyway, I have no idea how the car would feel). The car is my daily driver and will be autocrossed as often as I can squeeze it in my schedule.
TIA.

205/245 is a good balance for, I'm assuming '00-'03 stock suspension car. I've driven that setup with OEM SO2, Toyo T1-S and Toyo RA1. All were pretty close to stock balance.
I've also setup my car with 225/245 stagger, but that was with a stiffer front swaybar to rebalance the car because of the wider 225.
If you think the stock balance is too understeery (which I've yet to read from a non-racer) go ahead with less stagger.
