No one really know's what is "perfect fitment".

Some people consider a wheel/tire combo that bolts up w. no suspension adjustment PERFECT.

Others think that fitting a wheel w. a nice lip and having the option to adjust the suspension PERFECT.

Both are ok just depends on your opinion of perfect.

17x9 @ 45 isn't going to be a pnp combo w. a 245 tire. He will rub w.o. any other adjustments.

BTW where did you score the wheels ? i've been looking for these too and fighting w. the "ideal" offsets

I would take a bland looking wheel with more grip over a smaller stretched tire and chewed up quarter panel anyday.

*sigh*

Dark we already talked about aggressive wheel fitment in the past and that was squashed. Everything worked out perfectly and we proved A LOT of people wrong, but still no one could've "man'd" up and swallowed there pride to give up any credit to where it was due. Still, with the man himself, saying he never ran into problems with such an aggressive fitment, still no one believed him because of there big ego. I have plenty of people in my mind, but I won't even stoop that low to release the names. Many people have may inputs on what they think good wheel fitment is. Some may think "perfect wheel fitment" is how much wide of rubber you run in the rear, some may think "perfect wheel fitment" is how much lip you can get in the rear, some may think "perfect wheel fitment" is how flushed you can get with the fender.

As for "small" tires and ripping straight through the fenders?

You've seen and I know you have seen, how another side of s2ki is coming out. It took what? 6 years for people to realize that then can run more of an agressive offset and be safe running that offset without ripping through the fender. Look at the FS forum and Gallery. Theres ton's of examples there.

I remember back when if someone inquired about running a 17x9 +45, everyone would blow up on them saying how it wouldn't fit and how stupid they are for even thinking about running such offset. Now what do you see? People run that offset like theres no tomorrow and you even see vendors selling wheels @ that spec day and night.

[QUOTE=OBSeRiouso,Dec 7 2006, 05:00 PM] you can run a 245 but you have to run mad negative camber

you can run a 245 and roll your fender and run slight negative camber

you can run a 235 and and be on stock fender/stock alignment.

you can run a 225 up front, but run negative camber and not rub.

you can run a 215 up front and be perfect.

perfect fitment = OEM sizes and offsets...aggressize fitments look sexy as hell (+38 in the rear for me) and "perfect fitments" are made so you dont have to worry about any issues...

to the original post, the front is close to AP2 OEM fitment...the rears with the +45 is going to give off an illusion of a bigger stagger, but IMO will look great...

Post some pics when you get them on!

I have

17x7.5 +48
17x9 +45
(almost identical to his sizes)

All i did was roll my fenders (took all of 15 min) and thats it.. im not runing a small tire, or crazy camber (stock specs).. and im not rubbing.. dropped 2in too..

Doesnt look crazy to me

[QUOTE=Ubetit,Dec 11 2006, 11:05 AM] My 265's have plenty of room even with a 1.5 inch drop.
