OEM Tires, NOISE??
Howdy,
I drive a 2001, Black with OEM Tires all around. The rears have been replaced, 12k, but the fronts are in good shape, treadwise. But here's my problem or question.
I developed an annoying noise . At low or moderate speeds the sound of the tires is significant. I thought it had to do with the wear pattern on the rear tires and would go away when I replaced them. No such luck. The noise continues. Has anyone experienced this? Come up with a fix?
It's such a SWEET car to have it sound like an 18 wheeler, Wirrrr, Wirrr, Wirrr, is an affront to the SWEET sounds of engine, exhaust, and wind.
Thanks,,

I would imagine that the front tires have some uneven wear on the shoulder. You can't do anything to stop it other than replace the tires or turn up the music.
