Default OEM Front Rims on Back

I know someone had this happen to them a while back after a negligent tire store installed them incorrectly. The S02's back tires fit on the front rim but they bulge a little bit. I just checked my rims and found one that's a front installed on the rear.

I'd like to read that thread again but cannot find it using the search. Anyone?

Yes, I had that happen to me. They installed all the tires on the wrong rim and put on one side the rear rim on the front.
You want to get it corrected soon, as long as they don't have the back "rim" on the front and vice versa. It can strip your bolts through time.

Do not drive the car until you can confirm that the correct rim is mounted in the correct location! Since your tires were mixed up on the rims, don't pay attention to the tire size, it is the rim that is of critical importance here.

As Fusiondynamics stated, if the rear rim is mounted on the front hub, it will not seat properly and you could wind up with serious damage. This is because the rims on the S2000 are hub-centric, meaning the center bore of the rim snugly fits around a raised lip on the hub. Since the front rims have a larger center bore and front hubs have a larger diameter raised lip compared to the rear, front rims will snug down onto the hub on the rear of the car, but rear rims should never be fitted on the front.

It never fails to amaze me that some mechanics can't correctly mount tires on our rims - this happened to me too .
