The added lateral grip far exceeds any drag deficits caused by rolling resistance. This isn't a Miata, our motor actually makes power, and more then enough to overcome 10-50mm of extra tire width. Yes if your fenders aren't rolled. Also this thread is from 2013.

will i have any problems running 255/225 on offset 45+ on a lowered S2k?
They wouldn't fit the other time you posted this today and won't fit now without buggering the bodywork.
