you guys im here trying to get some reviews and opinions on these two tires i am looking for a set of tires for tracking.

at the moment i am tracking with nt05 and they are ok but they tend to give up after a couple of hot laps.

If you are purely looking at lap times the nt01 is an rcompound tire. The ad08r is still a street tire. A very aggressive street tire but a street tire.

Any of the rcompounds would be the best on the track. R888 the ad048 etc. I have t personally run these. You may try looking the the r&c forum and see what they are running. If you step up to a Hoosier you should trailer it to the track since they are not made for the street at all.

If you're looking for a tire just for track use, Hoosier A7 > Hoosier R7 > Maxxis RC-1 > Nitto NT01. Not sure where Toyo RRs or RA1s fit in there.

RRs and RA1s are at the NT01 level. If you just want outright speed and want to drive to the track just buy the RE71Rs.

I love my BFG R1 for track only. They handle the heat very well and last FOREVER! I was really impressed last year, so much so I got another set this year!
